CAMAS, WA (July 12, 2022) – PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. (PLEXSYS) will host their annual PLEXSYS Users’ Group (PUG) on August 9-11 at the headquarters in Camas, WA. At this event, PLEXSYS will focus on proven solutions in Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training tools, including the latest in Advanced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) technologies that support a variety of training solutions for air, land, and maritime platforms.

The PUG is held annually and presents a unique overview of the company’s latest solutions and innovations. The event allows users to discuss developments and exchange ideas about future requirements. The primary focus and pledge are to enhance the warfighter’s LVC training and readiness capabilities. PLEXSYS engineers and operators will provide demonstrations and additional information to customers throughout the event, including:

  • Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) 7:  The ASCOT 7 System is a dynamic and intuitive Computer-Generated Forces (CGF) platform for use in your M&S environment. With its state-of-the-art user interface, modular and scalable design, and comprehensive yet extensible database, ASCOT 7 simplifies the development of complex scenarios for your training needs and budget.
  • Sonomarc:  This client-server communication system provides modern, automated, and flexible communication capabilities and audio distribution. It enables standards-compliant connections to standard simulation protocols such as DIS and HLA.
  • Video, Audio, and Data for After-Action Review (VADAAR) 2: VADAAR 2 allows users to stream, record, and review, video, audio, and data globally from any device. Users can record screens, record streams, and capture data.
  • Utilities Product Line:  The Utilities Product Line is a diverse set of tools capable of monitoring, augmenting, and enhancing the simulation environment. Diagnostics is used for monitoring, troubleshooting, recording, and playing back DIS or HLA protocols. Launch Control allows for controlling the setup, startup, and closing of Apps for multiple workstations from one location with a single click of a mouse. Direct Link Interface facilitates creating the Live, Virtual and Constructive environment by interfacing live operational data link terminals to the simulated world, creating the constructive environment. StrataSim allows the user to inject terrain or multiple forms of weather-enhancing realization of the simulation environment.

“Last year was my first PLEXSYS Users’ Group Conference, and I was amazed at the opportunity it provided me to see up close the entire PLEXSYS Ecosystem, what had been developed over the last year and what direction we’re taking our software development in,” said Patrick Yun, Operations Subject Matter Expert.
